Did anyone know you could get a Dell laptop for under €300? I didn’t! Has anyone ever heard of the Dell Vostro series? Not me anyway, personally I think they have been kept very “hush hush”.

First I will go into the technical stats of the Dell Vostro 1000

Processor: AMD Sempron Mobile Technology 3500+
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Basic / Windows XP Home

Now in basic terms this means any of the following is possible.

• Watching movies
• Checking email
• Internet via Dialup Modem, Wireless Broadband or Normal Broadband.
• Any general office work
• Basically anything other than graphic design this machine can handle, and perhaps a demanding game!
