So Halloween’s over now, today’s the first day back in college!
Trying to keep the blog active but it’s hard work with all the college assignments and a recent kick the immune system in health leading to falling behind in said assignments! Ah the fun.. thank god we are doing Java, any other language and I would be SCREWED by now! :P So head down now till Christmas, 5 weeks to go till the exams!
I’ll post when I can, till then friends, keep an eye out! ;)

The deal is completely live yet but it is confirmed by Microsoft as you can see on Twitter here.. Students in USA and UK will be able to get Windows 7 for only $30 by using their college email! This is a nice step by Microsoft.
Emailing them now to see if this will be including Irish students! — Will update here on response

So it hasn’t really hit me yet, only got the letter this afternoon and I still can’t believe it but I’ve been accepted to Waterford Institute for Technology’s course “Applied Computing“. This a very good day! :D :D

So after being informed by my lovely Mother today that WIT where offering free degrees to people who are unemployed I decided I may aswell test the waters down there and send in an application.
Which lead me to sending in two applications! :D So I have now applied for the BSc in Information Technology and the BSc (Hons) in Applied Computing . Personally I’m hoping to get accepted to the BSc in Applied Computing as that would be more geared towards Game Design than the BSc in Information Technology but either way if I get accepted to one of them I’ll be overjoyed! But I’ve filled in my applications, enveloped them up and put them into the post box, it’s out of my hands now! So fingers crossed! ;)
