I love holidays! Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Summer [That’s a holiday for me! 
] So I would like to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Halloween! Spread around the spirit! I feel like it should be Christmas already, sort of screwed for waiting aren’t I? Due to this marvelous holiday of darkness and pumpkins I have gotten rid of the “Pink For October” theme and uploaded the Halloween theme! Any k2 users are welcome to download it from here. Just add it to k2 styles, enable it and off you go, all it does is change your links to orange! Have a Happy Halloween!

Fast update:
I’m only home now, Podpress screwed up my scheduled posts, a podcast was meant to go live at 10am but then something happened, uninstalled Podpress now and everything seems to be back to normal, we’ll be back on track in an hour or so!

So it didn’t take me long to want to upgrade hey? Here’s a quick overview of what I did:
- Backed up my WordPress database.
- Backed up my theme and plugins.
- Downloaded version WordPress 2.3, get it here if your wondering.
- Deleted everything associated to WordPress apart from .htaccess, /images/ and wp-config.php
- Uploaded the files.
- Ran the Wordpress database upgrade.
- Database was fine, no issues.
- Spent about half an hour getting the new supported version of k2 back to normality.
- All plugins work fine, SocialBookmarkButtons, Feedburner Feedsmith, Live Post Preview, WWSGD, Wp-Mint, Subscribe to comments and Askimet
- Problems posting, just hundreds of errors, converting all categories to tags.
- Turns out Extended Live Archives were causing the problem. Problem sorted.
All in all, a perfect trouble free installation!
Other than that I added gravatar support! Removed Categories, everything is changed to tags now. Enjoy! I know I will!
Side Note: If anyone wants any help with their Wordpress upgrade please give me a shout! Or if you just want to know if a certain theme or plugin works drop me a comment!
