donna, I have no problems posting your comments. However,

An actionable defamatory statement has three ingredients:

* it must be published,
* it must refer to the complainant and
* it must be false.

So due to the fact that this series of events did happen, this is not defaming someone. Only a false statement is actionable. Why should companies be allowed to get away with this? I am free to write my opinion about the professionalism of any company!

Threatening with sollicitors is foolish and does not testify of a great sense of reality. When you operate a business you are open to criticism about your professionalism, and in this age of information technology you better keep in mind that an unhappy customer has many more tools at his/her disposal than before the internet age when it comes to publishing such criticism.

At no point in his blogpost does Sean personally attack Caroline. All his comments are aimed at her in the context of her position at Global Professional Consultants, and if she can’t take that, she oughtn’t occupy that position in the first place.

PS, I will be watching with great anticipation to see if you are a eager to post my comment as you were the rest. Also by the way i have no connection with that woman, i just hate to see this kind of activity, you are entitled to free speech but nobody has the right to defame another in a public place.

Ok so you had a little spat with a woman on the phone, Whatever happened on the phone was between you and her, now you have ridiculed this person in public and also allowed others add rude and defamatory comments about her on your blog, this amounts to online bullying, you better hope that there are not to many unemployed solicitors going to her agency, As she now has a nice little nixer for them.
