Did anyone know you could get a Dell laptop for under €300? I didn’t! Has anyone ever heard of the Dell Vostro series? Not me anyway, personally I think they have been kept very “hush hush”.
First I will go into the technical stats of the Dell Vostro 1000
Processor: AMD Sempron Mobile Technology 3500+
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Basic / Windows XP Home
Screen: 15.4″
Memory: 1024MB
Hard Drive: 60GB
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon Xpress 1550 HyperMemory
CD Drive: 8x DVD/24x CDRW Combo Drive
Battery: 4 cell Lithium-Ion Battery
Internet: 56.4k Modem / Dell™ Wireless 1390 802.11b/g Mini-Card
Now in basic terms this means any of the following is possible.
- Watching movies
- Checking email
- Internet via Dialup Modem, Wireless Broadband or Normal Broadband.
- Any general office work
- Basically anything other than graphic design this machine can handle, and perhaps a demanding game!
So there you have it! Head out and get this baby, I think I’m going to get myself one, just for the purpose of having a laptop for being on the move! You can see all the Vostro series from this link here. Of course if you want to use an e-value code for the one mentioned above the code is:
IEBSDONL-N1010001
Enjoy!
Digg it!
Provided you’re VAT registered and can walk to Bray to collect your laptop
It is a good price all the same.
Ah yes, well I’m not VAT registered. But John McNamara Building is! So not an issue for me!
