I think that the eircom wifi hotspot product goes back to late 2004. Similarly, the RSS logo is from the same period (beta September or so, launch late 2004 I think) although the whole thing was fairly underground at that stage. The RSS logo only really went mainstream when it was adopted in Internet Explorer in late 2005. The question is how long has the RSS logo been around too.
