Skype for Linux
The one thing I find new users of Linux are surprised about is that Skype actually officially support Linux! Now the Linux version is abit behind, being only version 1.4. But its defiantly better than nothing! To download to install you can head over here. Or to do it via apt-get [I’m loving apt-get at the moment ;) ]

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Add the following to the end of the file:
deb http://download.skype.com/linux/repos/debian/ stable non-free
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install skype

Presto! You have Skype! Isn’t the command line fun? :)

If you liked this post, perhaps you'd like to buy me a coffee?
