Do you run a text-based game? Or even just run a community that is in dire need of some chat services! Well IRC is most defiantly your way to go! Its fast, players can either go through a web applet made by you like PJirc or via their own IRC program like xChat or mIRC! But the question always is what network will you use? You could use something massive like Quakenet, but then your channel is stuck between literally thousands, the ircop’s are pretty unhelpful and you basically go on, unnoticed! So why not use a smaller, friendlier more active network? I personally see Jaundies as the way to go!
The goal of Jaundies.com IRC Community is to provide a safe and entertaining chat atmosphere for members of internet gaming communities. We started as a small network for one game and decided it was time to stretch our wings and open the doors to other games. Our main concern is the people that use this network so we strive to provide the best service possible. You can find us at irc.jaundies.com port 6667.
~The Jaundies Staff.:
But what are the benefits you ask? Well I can’t say it any better or more honestly than Jaundies have themselves!
Game Benefits? Strengthen your gaming community. Reach new members. Increase your user retention rates.
IRC Benefits? Active, caring IRC Ops and Help Ops who understand browser based games and their needs. Private network with no spam, infections, porn or warez. Stable network with multiple servers.
You could find no better network!
Note: This post was not sponsored in anyway, I am not an admin of Jaundies just a loyal user who via personal experience has no problem recommending Jaundies!
Digg it!
I have to say, that I 100% agree with Sean. Jaundies is an awesome network, and the IRCop’s, although they are firm and won’t stand for meddling people who stuff around on the network making it unpleasant for others, are always willing to help. Even if it IS the same old questions of “How do I register my nickname?” at every second minute of the clock.
I’ve been using Jaundies for about 3yrs, and I’ve never had a problem yet
