Ok, just saw this via ProBlogger, and I think i’m going to give it a shot. I’ll try get one up for late this evening / tommorow morning.. Just for the fun! Seems like it could be a laugh! For those of you who don’t know what Sketchcasting is:
This is via Damien Mulley, one of his friends was on the Dart and this is what happened;
You can choose your friends
A woman got on Dart in Bray before I had time to properly go to sleep. Rather ok looking pram with child in it. On closer inspection, said child had Downs Syndrome. Downs Syndrome children are really affectionate, attentive and loving. The mother had pushed the pram half way up the carriage. Not ideal for ease of access or exit.
She proceeded to try to give the child its bottle of orange juice. On noticing that she had no bib, she asked two of our local Dart passengers, if they had some tissues. Kind passengers give woman tissues. It became obvious when the woman jumped up twice for the wrong stop, once at Glasthule and once at Dun Laoghaire that she was stoned.
I hadn’t judged her for her accent. I hadn’t judged her for looks. I hadn’t judged her for neglecting to carry a bib. I hadn’t judged her for rather roughly inserting the childs bottle. At the Dun Laoghaire effort to get off the train, she said ‘I ain’t really with it, Im gettin’ off at Tara’. My heart sank.
She then proceeded to meticulously arrange and fold two fifty Euro notes, that were in the end of her handbag. She wrapped the notes in an old train ticket. I could only think she was destined to ’score a fix’. My heart sank more. Young Downs Baby, no more that one and a half, looks at me and waves. I felt SICK.
It arrived! Now the question is, where can I go with it! I was thinking, Frank should make another t-shirt saying the exact same thing apart from “podcast” about this for Podcamp! Surely would be a fun way to get more buisness!
Overall everyone should just hit Festival Shirts and buy some cool t-shirts! Now if you don’t mind, I have a t-shirt to wear and a bag of haribo to eat! Thanks Frank!
Well basically the last five days have been hell, I’ve had two or three projects that I’ve fallen way behind on and so me being me, decided I’d do all designs at once and get to the actual code part later. Well needless to say I ended up fustrated. Only 1/3 designs done so far! Anyway, before hitting bed I decided I’d do abit of searching on breakdown of web design. Saw this image and it really made me laugh. 100% true in my case.
Well my name is now down for Irelands first Podcamp! Which amazingly is going to be held in Kilkenny on September 29th. Should be interesting and a good bit of fun! If your intending on going or just want to have a look at what its about click here.
Podcamp will be organised by, Ken McGuireKrishna De, Bernie Goldbach, Conn Ó Muíneacháin and Brian Greene. Wondering what people are going to be talking about? Well anything to do with Podcasting really, which is something I’m considering getting back into myself.. Have abit of knowledge on some form of Podcasting? Well then put your name down to be a speaker. [Something I will not be doing.. heh..] Overall just come along for the craic!

Thoughts:
Blogger provides all the nuts and blots you need to run a basic to intermediate blog, all for free. The real letdown for Blogger though is the low amount of themes it has. Other than that I don’t have any complaints. You really do have to mess around with your theme alot to get it looking individual and even then.. lets just say its hard! Another complaint of mine on Blogger was that it didn’t have the ability for feed redirection, but it actually just enabled that there over the last week or two, so no complaints on that side! With the html of your template being editable you will also have no problems with blogger if wanting to enable meebo or flickr!
Overall: A fantastic blogging system that really does allow anyone to blog in the simpliest of ways but lets the intermidate bloggers step their blog up a notch! It really has progressed since I first used it! A definate reccomendation! Even if you do want to change to a paid blog after this its as simple as clicking a few steps on import! Definatly keep Blogger in mind if your thinking of setting up a blog!
Just thought I’d add this video on today as its by a friend of mine Evan Reid. All locally Kilkenny based and what not and truely amazing in my opinion.
Well I got an email today informing me that I had one the Win A Free T-shirt Competition by Festival Shirts! Of course I’m thrilled. Makes this week just another bit better. I hope my fun and luck streak with the blog doesn’t end. I certainly will not be stopping blogging anyway! Getting Dugg, getting in the newspaper, getting a free t-shirt. Its endless!
So I’ve decided on this t-shirt as it is my favourite!
Can’t wait till I get it! I’m going to wear it EVERYWHERE! Seriously.. Now if anyone has a “Win a Free Pair of Pants Competition” let me know!
