Blank an entire CD.

This post is more of a note to myself than anything, but it will certainly be helpful for those of you who have a CD-RW that just won’t erase. Pop it in a linux machine open a terminal and enter in the commands:

sudo cdrecord blank=all -immed dev=/dev/cdrw

This will blank the ENTIRE cd. Leaving nothing.. :) So make sure you really want it deleted! It will also take a good few minutes depending on how much you have on the cd.. But once its done, you can write to it again! So, its handy!
